The MH CET 5-Year LLB 2026 is Maharashtra’s flagship law entrance test for admission into integrated law programmes like B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., and B.L.S. LL.B. offered by colleges across the state. In the revised format, the paper is shorter than the old 150-question pattern and is now a 120-question, 120-mark CBT (computer-based test) with no negative marking—which makes smart attempts and speed-based accuracy a major advantage.
As per the latest MH CET Law pattern, the exam consists of 120 objective-type questions, with 1 mark per question and no negative marking.

1) Legal Aptitude & Legal Reasoning (32)
This is the most “law-like” part of the paper. Expect principle–fact questions where you apply a given rule to a situation.

- Constitution basics (rights, governance framework—basic level)
- Basics of torts, contracts, criminal law (conceptual awareness)
- Legal terms/maxims (basic) and legal current affairs (selective)
2) Logical & Analytical Reasoning (32)
This section rewards practice and pattern-recognition.
- Arguments: assumptions, strengthen/weaken, inference
- Statements & conclusions, cause–effect
- Syllogisms, analogies, series
- Coding-decoding, directions, relations (selective)
3) GK & Current Affairs (24)
This is where toppers create separation with revision.
