National Law Universities (NLU) in India are the flagship institutes for legal education in India, generally known for their academic excellence and interdisciplinary learning.
Each NLU has its own speciality – one might be very good in corporate placements, while the other might excel in other field like judiciary or academic. So, rank of an NLU actually cannot be rigid with a one serves all list.
The rank tells the utility of that NLU and the utility of that NLU depends on the requirement of a particular student. A student who has already decided about serving in litigation, won’t find much value in an NLU which is more oriented towards corporate placements.
Apart from this, the location, the exposure, the crowd and the environment – the mindset of the crowd in the university are several factors that comes along in determining the worth of an NLU, which can be subjective depending on the requirements.
