Pro Tip: In 3 months, you don’t need to study everything in equal depth. Focus on high-yield areas with the help of your mentors.

Step 2: Month-Wise Study Plan

Month 1 – Build Foundations (Weeks 1–4)

  • English: Read The Hindu / Indian Express editorials daily. Maintain a vocab + idioms diary.
  • GK: Revise last 3-4 months’ Current Affairs. Use monthly compendiums (May-August 2025).
  • Legal: Practice principle-based passages + Basic Concepts clarity
  • Logical Reasoning: Solve 15–20 questions daily from past CLAT papers.
  • Quant: Revise percentages, averages, ratios. Attempt 2 caselets every alternate day.
  • General Tips: Start with 2 mock tests every week from Week 3. Analyse mock tests. Use this video to learn analysing – How to Analyse Mock Tests?

Target: Finish all basics + first round of current affairs.

Month 2 – Practice & Strengthen (Weeks 5–8)

  • Attempt 2-3 full-length mocks per week and analyze mistakes.
  • Revise current affairs of the last 6 months thoroughly.
  • Daily routine:
    • 1 editorial + 1 legal passage reading.
    • 25–30 logical reasoning questions.
    • 1 DI caselet.
  • Begin time-bound practice (e.g., finish a Legal passage in 8 minutes).

Target: Improve accuracy and speed. Get familiar with time pressure.

Month 3 – Mock-Test Marathon (Weeks 9–12)

  • Attempt 3–4 mocks per week under exam-like conditions.
  • Revise GK notes every morning for 30 mins.
  • Legal reasoning: Practice recent case-based questions.
  • English: Focus on inference and tone-based questions.
  • Quant: Attempt 1 DI caselet daily.
  • Analyze every wrong answer → Was it lack of knowledge, misreading, or time pressure?

Target: Simulate exam day at least 10 times before CLAT.

Step 3: Section-Wise Hacks

  • English Language: Don’t memorize obscure grammar. Instead, practice editorials + past CLAT RCs.
  • GK/Current Affairs: Focus on events from January 2025 – November 2025. Use monthly revision tests.
  • Legal Reasoning: Prioritize Constitutional Law, Criminal Law (BNS), Contract Law and solve PYQs to understand the pattern and difficulty level
  • Logical Reasoning: Develop a “puzzle-solving mindset.” Avoid getting stuck—move on if a passage feels heavy.
  • Quantitative Techniques/Data Interpretation: Practice with CLAT-style caselets, not standalone math problems.

Step 3: Tools & Resources

Step 4: The Mindset Game

  • Consistency > Intensity: 6 hrs daily is better than 10 hrs one day + 0 the next.
  • Mocks are your best friend: More than books, they build exam temperament.
  • Revise, don’t hoard: Stick to fixed sources for GK, revise it 3–4 times.

Final Words

A 3-month CLAT prep journey is not about perfection. It’s about discipline, smart prioritization, and constant revision. If you follow this plan sincerely, you will walk into CLAT 2026 with confidence.
